About Me

Prior to working as a NDIS Complex Support Coordinator, I previously worked at the National Disability Insurance Scheme supporting participants from 7 years to those who are supported in the aged care team, experiencing a range of disabilities. I am passionate about the work I undertake, focusing on reducing stress as much as possible to those navigating the NDIS Scheme. I have a strong ability to explain funding included in a plan and work hard to find a solution; utilising mainstream supports where possible and appropriate. I understand that the NDIS needs to be sustainable for all those who need the funding into the future.

Experience supporting participants facing crisis situations who require planning, prevention mitigation along with developing an action plan to progress needs and reduce risks.

Areas of expertise:

  • Early onset dementia

  • Hospital discharge

  • SDA (Supported Disability Accommodation)

  • SIL (Supported Independent Living)

  • Neurological conditions.

Level 2 and 3 Support Coordination

It is important to choose a Support Coordinator who ‘is the right fit’ to enable a positive working relationship to grow. Having the right person who has knowledge about the NDIS Scheme will assist in navigating the challenges that are experienced.

A Level 2 Support Coordinator will focus on the goals in an individual’s plan, assist with linking to suitable providers who understand the needs of an individual, support with planning meetings, ensuring continuity with care supports and maintain relationships with providers.

A Level 3 Support Coordinator focuses on responding to complex circumstances and barriers that impact consistency of services. Focus is on planning, reducing risks, action plan, maintaining the immediate safety of individuals.
